The Bitterness of Doing Nothing
Animation | Illustration

The Bitterness of Doing Nothing is a 2-minute-long hand drawn animation commenting on capitalism and ideas of productivity.

Capitalism deems stillness as inefficiency, this animation explores how spending time doing simply nothing is often accompanied with guilt.

The track behind the animation was made in collaboration with Ed Flynn, Ellie Chapman and Finley Bruce. The music is a cover of ‘C.R.E.A.M.’ (Cash Rules Everything Around Me) by Wu-Tang Clan.
